For Koreans, the drink brings back good old family memories and a comforting warm feeling in the stomach. On Sundays, Korean parents like to take their children to the sauna and have Yakult as a snack afterwards. It is therefore the unofficial snack of the Sunday family sauna in Korea, but is also very popular at any other time.
Lotte had the ingenious idea of producing the drink as a jelly gummy candy. The product was so well received that it is even exported to the country of origin of Yakult drinks: Japan.
